Alex Bregman is an American professional baseball infielder. He batted .678 as a high school junior, set a New Mexico season record for home runs, and became the first high school player to win the USA Baseball Player of the Year Award. Bregman was a member of the LSU Tigers baseball team and later for the Houston Astros and Boston Red Sox in Major League Baseball.
