

Phil Simms
Phil Simms is a former American football player and sportscaster. He was selected by the New York Giants with the seventh overall pick in the 1979 NFL draft and led the team to victory in Super Bowl XXI, ending their 15-year playoff drought. He was named MVP of that game after completing 22 of 25 passes. Simms played for the New York Giants and Morehead State Eagles football teams. He has appeared in the documentary 85: The Greatest Team in Football History.
