

Charles Boyer
French actor (1899–1978)
Charles Boyer was a French actor (1899-1978). After completing his studies at the Sorbonne, Boyer began his career as a star of the Paris stage. He made his first film appearance as a bit player in a French film when a French film company visited his hometown, before signing a Hollywood contract with MGM in 1929. He appeared in over 80 films throughout his career. Boyer's notable films include Love Affair, Around the World in 80 Days, How to Steal a Million, with Audrey Hepburn and Peter O'Toole, Casino Royale, Gaslight, and Barefoot in the Park alongside Robert Redford and Jane Fonda.
