Slim Pickens was an American actor and rodeo performer. He appeared in films such as Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb, Escort West, One-Eyed Jacks alongside Marlon Brando, The Cowboys, and Blazing Saddles. Pickens also played the corrupt Sgt. Wiley in B.J. and the Bear and later returned to his country comedy roots, performing on the syndicated Hee Haw. One of his most popular songs was Christmas In November.
