Fred MacMurray was an American actor (1908-1991). His career spanned nearly half a century from 1930 to the 1970s, during which he appeared in numerous films such as Double Indemnity, The Apartment, The Shaggy Dog, and The Absent-Minded Professor. MacMurray also starred in the TV series My Three Sons, which ran for 12 seasons from 1960 to 1972.
