Jayson Tatum
American basketball player
Jayson Tatum is an American basketball player. He was a McDonald's All-American in high school and played college basketball for the Duke Blue Devils. Tatum was selected third overall in the 2017 NBA draft by the Boston Celtics, where he was voted to the NBA All-Rookie First Team in 2018.
Tatum earned the inaugural NBA Eastern Conference Finals MVP award in 2022 and secured his first championship in the 2024 NBA Finals. A six-time NBA All-Star and four-time All-NBA selection, he led the Celtics to a league-best 64 wins in 2024 before capturing the title. Tatum also holds multiple scoring records.
Tatum has also represented the United States men's national team. He won a gold medal with the 2020 and 2024 U.S. Olympic teams.
