Ryo Ishibashi is a Japanese actor (1956-). He appeared in various films in the late 80s before transitioning to full-time acting in 1990. Ishibashi has since appeared in notable films such as Brother directed by Takeshi Kitano, American Yakuza alongside Viggo Mortensen, Audition, and The Grudge. He also starred in the series Modern Love Tokyo. Prior to his successful acting career, Ishibashi was a prominent figure in the music industry as a former frontman for Japanese rockers ARB.
