

Aasif Mandvi
British actor
Aasif Mandvi is a British actor. He created and performed the one-man show Sakina's Restaurant, which explores the immigrant experience. Mandvi received a scholarship to the University of South Florida where he earned a degree in theater. He then relocated to New York City and began working in the theater scene. Mandvi has since starred in Ismail Merchant's adaptation of V.S. Naipaul's novel The Mystic Masseur, and appeared in the films Margin Call and The Internship. He has also had television roles in Sleeper Cell, Evil, and This Way Up.
