John David Washington is an American actor and former professional football player. He is the son of Denzel Washington. Washington played college football at Morehouse and signed with the St. Louis Rams as an undrafted free agent in 2006. He spent four years as the running back for the United Football League's Sacramento Mountain Lions. Washington transitioned to acting, appearing in the series Ballers alongside Dwayne Johnson. He has since starred in films such as BlacKkKlansman, Tenet, Amsterdam, and The Creator.
