Puerto Rican actor and theatre and film director (1912–1992)
José Ferrer was a Puerto Rican actor and theatre and film director (1912-1992). He received the Academy Award for Best Actor for his performance in Cyrano de Bergerac in 1949 and starred in Moulin Rouge in 1952. Ferrer directed and starred in The Shrike and directed The Cockleshell Heroes both in 1955.
He released the albums Pedrito y el Lobo & Leopold Mozart: Sinfonía de los juguetes (Unabridged) and Vier Solo-Sonaten (Continui) nach Kompositionen von Benedetto Marcello with Benedikt Dolf and Vicente. He also released the extended play Círculos Pop.
His most popular songs include the singles Hermanos Siempre with Miguel Angel Gomez and Radikal Media Group, Si Tú Te Vas, and Caminos.
