Basil Rathbone was an Anglo-South African actor. He made his movie debut in the British silent feature Innocent and later appeared in films such as The Adventures of Robin Hood and The Mark of Zorro. Rathbone starred in several Sherlock Holmes films, including Sherlock Holmes: Dressed to Kill, Sherlock Holmes: Terror By Night, and The Woman in Green.
