Howard Da Silva was an American actor (1909–1986). Da Silva appeared in films such as The Lost Weekend, Three Husbands, 1776, The Great Gatsby, and Mommie Dearest. He also starred in the television movie Verna: USO Girl, for which he received a Primetime Emmy Award. Following a period of theatrical work, Da Silva resumed his screen career in the early 1960s and appeared in various film and television productions, continuing to work in the industry throughout the 1970s.
