Sarah Michelle Gellar

American actress

Sarah Michelle Gellar is an American actress. She is known for playing Buffy Summers on the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer from 1997-2003. Before then, she made her film debut in the television movie An Invasion of Privacy opposite Valerie Harper. Gellar received a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series for her role in All My Children.

Some of her notable film credits include Cruel Intentions, Scream 2, Simply Irresistible, and Scooby- Doo. Later, she produced and starred in Ringer and Wolf Pack, and appeared in the series Dexter: Original Sin.
