Christian Borle is an American actor. He originated the role of Emmett in Legally Blonde on Broadway and later portrayed William Shakespeare in Something Rotten! on Broadway, reprising this role in the film adaptation of the musical. Borle has also appeared in notable television productions such as The Sound of Music Live!, the series Smash alongside Anjelica Huston, and Peter Pan Live! with Christopher Walken.
