

Don Francks
Canadian actor and jazz musician (1932–2016)
Don Francks was a Canadian actor and jazz musician (1932-2016). Francks began his career as a vocalist in radio before transitioning to television and film. Francks appeared in films such as Finian's Rainbow co-starring Fred Astaire, Harriet the Spy, Lie With Me, and The Big Town alongside Diane Lane and Tommy Lee Jones. He also appeared in the series Gangland Undercover, La Femme Nikita, and Police Academy, and voiced several characters for episodes of the animated series Inspector Gadget.
Francks also starred in the Broadway musical Kelly in 1965, and composed and played jazz music throughout his life, including notable performances in Toronto and at the Village Vanguard in New York City.
