Dean Reed was a singer, musician, actor, writer, and director. His film credits include Buckaroo: The Winchester Does Not Forgive, God Made Them, I Kill Them, and Adios, Sabata alongside Yul Brynner and Sal Borgese. Reed signed with Capitol Records, releasing rock and roll singles and LPs which solidified his status as one of South America's most popular performers. He was one of the few Western rock and rollers to enjoy prominent exposure in the Soviet Union. Reed became known for performing for free in prisons and was a regular presence on Buenos Aires television. Dean Reed died in 1986.
