Chill Wills

American actor and singer (1902-1978)

Chill Wills was an American actor (1902-1978). He led the singing cowboy group the Avalon Boys Quartet in the 1930s, appearing in films with the quartet during that time. Wills later voiced Francis the mule in movies from 1950 to 1955 and appeared in films such as Rio Grande, The Harvey Girls with Judy Garland, Giant, The Alamo, and McLintock!. Outside of acting, Wills released the singles Mama / Whisperin' Bill and Daddy's Girl / Broad Daylight.
