James Lafferty is an American actor. He starred as Nathan Scott in the long-running teen drama series One Tree Hill and played Steve Alford in the sports drama A Season on the Brink. He also appeared in the series The Right Stuff and the films Oculus, Sucker Punch, and Red Right Hand. Lafferty directed the series The Royals which ran from 2015 to 2018.
