African-American actor, dancer, and choreographer
Hinton Battle was an African-American Tony award-winning actor, dancer, and choreographer. His television credits include the TV movies The Alamo: 13 Days to Glory and The Boys. He also appeared in the films Daddy's Boys, Foreign Student, and Dreamgirls, where he worked with Beyoncé and Eddie Murphy. Beyond film and TV, Battle released the singles When I Walk, Sophisticated Ladies, and All Blues. He passed away in 2024.
