American actress, singer, dancer, and diplomat

Shirley Temple was an American actress, singer, dancer, and diplomat. She began her career as a child star in the 1930s, gaining fame for her singing, dancing, and acting in films such as Heidi, The Little Princess, and The Blue Bird.  She became especially known for the song On the Good Ship Lollipop from the film Bright Eyes. Later, she would star in The Bachelor and the Bobby-Soxer alongside Cary Grant, and Fort Apache.


Temple also hosted the TV series Shirley Temple's Storybook and later became involved in politics. She served as the United States Ambassador to Ghana and Czechoslovakia. Temple passed away in 2014.
