

Nanette Fabray
American actress, singer and dancer (1920-2018)
Nanette Fabray was an American actress, singer, and dancer. She started singing in vaudeville as a toddler and became a Broadway star in 1947 playing opposite Phil Silvers in High Button Shoes. Fabray is known for her performance in the Triplets production number in The Band Wagon and appeared in the film Amy. She received numerous Primetime Emmy Awards for her roles in the television series Caesar’s Hour, winning Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series in 1957 and Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series in 1956.
