Robert Guillaume was an American actor. He won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his role in Soap. He then won Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for his role in the series Benson Guillaume also appeared in the miniseries North and South, as well as in the television series Sports Night, The Love Boat, and the film Big Fish.
