Stellan Skarsgård is a Swedish actor. He is known for portraying Dr. Erik Selvig in Marvel Cinematic Universe films, as Prof. Gerald Lambeau in Good Will Hunting, and as Martin Vanger in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Stellan Skarsgård has also been in The Avengers, Dune alongside Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya, and the series Chernobyl. For his role in Chernobyl, he received the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor - Series, Miniseries or Television Film in 2020. He starred in Sentimental Value, directed by Joachim Trier. He has also appeared in Andor and produced the films w Delta z and In Order of Disappearance.
