Ida Lupino was a British actress and filmmaker (1918-1995). After enrolling in London’s Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, Lupino appeared in films such as The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, They Drive by Night, The Bigamist, and The Food of the Gods, as well as the series Four Star Playhouse. She later directed the films The Hitch-Hiker, The Trouble with Angels, and Never Fear.
