Carmen Sevilla was a Spanish actress and singer (1930-2023). She appeared in films such as Imperial Violets, Vengeance, Beatriz, Cross of the Devil, and King of Kings alongside Rip Torn. In 1953, she co-starred with Pedro Infante in Reportage and You Had To Be a Gypsy. Sevilla began her career as a television presenter in 1991, working for the three major Spanish networks until her retirement in 2010. As a singer, she released several studio albums, numerous singles and compilations, and extended plays including Ojitos traidores, Tarantela sevillana, and Violetas Imperiales.
