Bernie Mac was an American comedian and actor (1957-2008). He launched his own weekly variety show at Chicago's Regal Theatre, won the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1990, and went on to appear in films such as Friday, Bad Santa, and the Ocean's Eleven franchise. Mac also hosted his own sitcom, The Bernie Mac Show, which ran from 2001 to 2006.
