Bourvil was a French actor and singer (1917-1970). He was known for his roles in the comedy films Le Corniaud and La Grande Vadrouille. His film credits also included the 1958 film adaptation of Les Misérables, Le Cercle Rouge, and The Christmas Tree. Bourvil released several singles including Salade de fruits, La tactique du gendarme, and La tendresse.
