John Carradine was an American actor. He made his stage debut in 1925 at the St. Charles Theatre, abandoning his ambitions as a painter and sculptor. Carradine was educated at the private Christ Church School in Kingston and the Episcopal Academy of Philadelphia. He appeared in films such as Stagecoach, The Hound of the Baskervilles, The Shootist, The Sentinel, and The Ice Pirates. Carradine passed away in 1988. He is the father of Keith Carradine, David Carradine, and Robert Carradine.
