Louis de Funès was a French actor and comedian. He played numerous roles in film, including Delusions of Grandeur with Yves Montand, Fantomas with Jean Marais, Hibernatus, The Mad Adventures of Rabbi Jacob, and Totò, Eva e il pennello proibito. He frequently worked with director Jean Girault. Two museums are dedicated to his life and acting: one in the Château de Clermont near Nantes and the other in the town of Saint-Raphaël, Southern France. Louis de Funès died in 1983.
