Julianna Margulies is an American actress. She played Carol Hathaway in ER, winning a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for the role. She later led the cast as Alicia Florrick in the legal drama series The Good Wife for seven seasons from 2009 to 2016, winning another Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series in 2011. Margulies has appeared in films such as Ghost Ship, The Newton Boys, and The Upside alongside Nicole Kidman. She has also starred in the series The Hot Zone and the Apple Original series The Morning Show with Jennifer Aniston.
