Jane Powell was an American actress, dancer, and singer. Following her victory on a radio talent show in Los Angeles, Powell signed a contract with MGM in 1943. She appeared in the films Three Daring Daughters, Royal Wedding, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Athena, and Hit the Deck. Powell also released the singles Wonderful, Wonderful Day, Quiet Nights Of Quiet Stars, and It’s A Most Unusual Day.
