
Maria Bamford
Maria Bamford is an American actress. She began appearing on variety and talk shows in the late '90s, landed her first primetime stand-up special on Comedy Central Presents in 2001, and released her second comedy album How to WIN! in 2007. Bamford also appeared in the documentary Misery Loves Comedy in 2015 and starred in films including The Special Special Special in 2014, Maria Bamford: Weakness is the Brand in 2020, and Maria Bamford: Local Act in 2023. She joined fellow alt-comics Patton Oswalt, Zach Galifianakis, and Brian Posehn for The Comedians of Comedy tour and provided the voice for the series Talking Tom and Friends.
