Candice Bergen is an American actress. She appeared in films such as The Group, Miss Congeniality, Sweet Home Alabama, Sex and the City, and Home Again, as well as the series Murphy Brown and Boston Legal. Bergen received the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy and the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for Murphy Brown in 1989. She produced the 2018 revival of Murphy Brown and the film Mary & Tim.
