

Gordon MacRae
American actor and singer (1921-1986)
Gordon MacRae was an American actor and singer. He appeared in films such as The West Point Story and Backfire in 1950, On Moonlight Bay in 1951, and its sequel By the Light of the Silvery Moon, both with Doris Day, in 1953. MacRae also starred in Oklahoma! in 1955 and The Best Things in Life Are Free and Carousel in 1956. He released singles including Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (I Love You) with Jo Stafford, My Cup Runneth Over with Carol Lawrence, and Hair of Gold, Eyes of Blue. Gordon MacRae died in 1986.
