Alberto Sordi was an Italian actor. He appeared in films such as I Vitelloni, Nero's Weekend with Brigitte Bardot, A Farewell to Arms with Rock Hudson, and Those Magnificent Men In Their Flying Machines. Sordi received a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor - Motion Picture Musical or Comedy for his performance in The Devil. He began writing film scripts in the 1950s and directed his own features from the mid-60s onwards. Sordi also released the singles E Va' E Va', Il Presidente and Carcerato. He passed away in 2003.
