American actress (1913–2000)
Loretta Young was an American actress (1913-2000). She starred in films such as The Farmer's Daughter for which she received the Academy Award for Best Actress, Come to the Stable, The Story of Alexander Graham Bell, Eternally Yours, The Bishop's Wife, The Stranger, and Christmas Eve, for which she won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress - Miniseries or Television Film. Young also starred in Letter to Loretta and her own anthology series The Loretta Young Show, for which she won two Primetime Emmy Awards.
