

Stan Freberg
American actor and entertainer
Stan Freberg was an American actor, musician, comedian, radio personality, author, puppeteer, and advertising creative director. He voiced Pete Puma and one-half of The Goofy Gophers in Warner Brothers cartoons alongside Mel Blanc and June Foray. Freberg also appeared in the puppet animation TV series Time For Beany as Cecil the Seasick Sea Serpent. He began producing hit comedy records for the Capitol label in 1951 with the soap opera parody John and Marsha. Freberg's most popular songs include the single Sh-Boom with The Toads, the single Heartbreak Hotel, and the single St. George And The Dragonet.
