Ted Danson

American actor

Ted Danson is an American actor. He starred as Sam Malone in the NBC sitcom Cheers from 1982 to 1993, for which he received two Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series. He would later host the podcast Where Everybody Knows Your Name with Ted Danson and Woody Harrelson (sometimes).

Danson has also starred in the series Becker, Bored to Death, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Damages, The Good Place, and A Man on the Inside. Elsewhere, he has made notable appearances in shows such as Curb Your Enthusiasm and films including Three Men and a Baby and Best Summer Ever, which he also executive produced.
