Richard Harris was an Irish actor, singer, film director, and writer (1930-2002). He is known for playing Albus Dumbledore in the first two Harry Potter films. Harris also appeared in films such as Juggernaut, Gladiator, The Count of Monte Cristo, and Unforgiven. He received a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor - Motion Picture Musical or Comedy for his role in Camelot. Harris released the singles MacArthur Park and Didn't We.
