American comedian, actor, and writer

Larry David is an American comedian, actor, and writer. He is best known for his work on the hit 1990s sitcom Seinfeld, which he produced and co-created with Jerry Seinfeld. For the show, David received two Primetime Emmy Awards in 1993: one for Outstanding Comedy Series and the other for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series for the episode The Contest.


David later found success with the long-running HBO series Curb Your Enthusiasm, which he created, produced, and starred in. He also wrote and directed the film Sour Grapes and appeared in films such as The Three Stooges, Clear History, and the documentary Albert Brooks: Defending My Life.
