Jean-Louis Trintignant was a French actor. He is internationally known for his role in the 1966 film A Man and a Woman. Trintignant also appeared in films directed by Claude Chabrol (Les Biches), Bernardo Bertolucci (The Conformist), and Krzysztof Kieślowski (Three Colors: Red). His other notable films include Violent Summer, Z, and Playing with Fire. Trintignant passed away in 2022.
