Canadian-American retired actor

Michael J. Fox is a Canadian-American retired actor. He played Marty McFly in the Back to the Future film trilogy. He also appeared in the film Teen Wolf and voiced the lead role in the Stuart Little films. On television, Fox starred in the series Family Ties, for which he received the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor - Television Series Musical or Comedy and the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series. He also appeared in the Apple Original Film STILL: A Michael J. Fox Movie and received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series for his role in Rescue Me. Fox produced the television series The Michael J. Fox Show. He founded the Michael J. Fox Foundation in 2000 to help fund research for Parkinson's disease.
