Lily Tomlin is an American actress, comedian, and writer. She was a cast member on Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In. Tomlin produced and narrated the documentary An Apology to Elephants, for which she received a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Voice-Over Performance. She also received a Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album for This Is a Recording and the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play for The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe.
