Drew Barrymore is an American actress. She played Gertie in E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial and appeared in films such as Firestarter, 50 First Dates, Donnie Darko, Ever After, and Scream. She has also appeared in Boys on the Side, Charlie's Angels, and The Wedding Singer. Barrymore worked with Scarlett Johansson in He's Just Not That Into You. In 2024, Barrymore appeared in the film Smile 2 and the series Hollywood Squares. For her role in Grey Gardens, Barrymore received a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress - Miniseries or Television Film.

Outside of acting, Barrymore has directed the film Whip It, produced the films Never Been Kissed and Charlie's Angels, and the series The Drew Barrymore Show.

She hosts the Society & Culture podcast Drew's News. Additionally, she has released a popular song titled The Cold Hard Truth.
