Burt Reynolds was an American actor (1936-2018). Reynolds appeared in Deliverance, The Longest Yard (both the original and the 2005 remake), Smokey and the Bandit, and the films The Cannonball Run and Cannonball Run II. Reynolds received a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for his role in Evening Shade. Reynolds directed the films Gator and The End. He also starred in the 1997 film Boogie Nights, for which he won the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor – Motion Picture.
