British-Australian pop group; sibling trio

Bee Gees were an English-Australian pop group formed in 1958 by brothers Barry Gibb, Robin Gibb, and Maurice Gibb. They released albums including Main Course, Children of the World, and Spirits Having Flown. Their most popular songs include Jive Talkin, Nights on Broadway, You Should Be Dancing, Stayin' Alive, More Than A Woman, Tragedy, and Too Much Heaven.


The group returned to the UK in 1967 to ride the Beatlemania wave with songs like To Love Somebody and I Started a Joke but ended up disco stars with 1977's Saturday Night Fever. They won five Grammy Awards for Saturday Night Fever, including Album of the Year.
The Bee Gees appeared in the film Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, the documentaries The Bee Gees: How Can You Mend a Broken Heart and Bee Gees - In Our Own Time, and the film Bee Gees: One Night Only.
