Marc Shaiman is an American composer. He composed the scores for the films Misery, When Harry Met Sally, and South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut, and wrote the music for Hairspray, for which he won the Grammy Award for Best Musical Theatre Album. His most popular songs include Goodbye Old Friend, Overture, and An Affair to Remember.
