Kelsey Grammer is an American actor. He played Dr. Frasier Crane in the sitcoms Cheers and its spin-off Frasier. Grammer performed with the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego, CA for three years in the late 1970s. He also appeared in the film Down Periscope and the series Wings. Grammer received Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for Frasier and Outstanding Voice-Over Performance for The Simpsons. He has produced the television series Girlfriends and Medium.
