Regina King is an American actress and director. Her film credits include Shirley, Friday, and If Beale Street Could Talk, for which she won the Academy Award and Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress. King has also appeared in television series such as 227, Southland, and Watchmen. She has directed episodes of Scandal and This Is Us, as well as the film One Night in Miami. Additionally, King received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or Movie for her role in Seven Seconds.
