B.B. King was an American blues guitarist, singer, and songwriter (1925-2015). He released albums including Completely Well, Live At the Regal, and Singin' the Blues. B.B. King is known for his 1970 pop hit The Thrill Is Gone. He also released popular songs such as When Love Comes to Town with U2 and Paying the Cost to Be the Boss. King had numerous entries on Billboard's R&B charts between 1951 and 1985. He appeared in the documentaries B.B. King: The Life of Riley and When We Were Kings, as well as the film Blues Brothers 2000.
